Dr. Nnamdi Victor Ozobia - Chairman / CEO

Dr. Nnamdi Victor Ozobia is a 1975 graduate of the University of Michigan and he holds degrees in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering and Civil Engineering.

He is a UK Chartered Engineer, a COREN Member and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. With over 30 years of practice in the Maritime, Ports and the Oil & Gas Industry, he remains a proven visionary, strategic leader, and a reservoir of experience and knowledge. He is a prodigy in maritime matters with over 15 published papers on maritime affairs pertaining to ship building, ship repair and ports and maintenance culture.

Serving under seven heads of state, he designed, built and managed Nigerdock Nig. PLC as it’s pioneer CEO for 15 years. For the Oil & Gas Industry he built multiple offshore buoys and platforms; and lead the design of Ashland FPSO.

He is a founding partner of Cyka Petroleum and its current Chairman/CEO.

Kwame Jantuah Esq - Executive Director

As the CEO of African Energy Consortium Limited (Ghana) Kwame Jantuah Esq has been working in the nascent oil & gas sector with a bid to promote aggressively the indigenous local content concept for the participation of Ghanaian companies in the industry.

His business expertise has been executed on both the European and African continents with a deep understanding of the different systems and skills required in diverse developed as well as emerging markets and this is where his acumen has been tried and tested in meeting and exceeding strategic goals.

Specializing in providing effective local content policy consultation and regulatory law to enable communities take advantage of opportunities in the Industry, he was part of the of the implementation of Ghana's Local Content Policy with the intent to produce a lone standing "Ghana Model" structure as opposed to a hybrid of models. Since then he has gone on to assist a number of African countries to write, review or implement their Oil & Gas / Energy & Petroleum Laws, most recent of which is the Republic of Liberia.

Kwame has also worked previously with the African Development Bank based in Tunis to advice five countries on how to get maximum participation out of their new-found discoveries especially with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)/Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and its communities and local content.

Kwame is a founding Director of CYKA Petroleum Ghana Limited.

Godfrey Etikerentse Esq – (Legal Consultant)

Mr. Godfrey Etikerentse is a 1964 Honours Bachelor of laws graduate of the University of London, England and was called to the English Bar on 23rd June 1964 as a member of the Honorable Society of the Inner Temple, London. He was enrolled as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria in early May 1965.

He joined the Gulf Oil Company (Nigeria) Limited (the predecessor of Chevron Nigeria Limited) on April 4, 1966 as a legal officer, later was assigned greater responsibilities in Gulf’s Legal Department covering legal, lands and claims matters of the company’s operations.

In June 1988, Mr. Etikerentse became the first indigenous executive director of Chevron and later was appointed to the Boards of two other Chevron subsidiaries in Nigeria. He served in these positions of Director and General Counsel of Chevron until his retirement from the company on December 31, 1995. Mr. Godfrey Etikerentse is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and a Guarantor member of the Petroleum Club, Lagos.

Arinze Ozobia - Director

Arinze is a graduate of George Mason University of Virginia USA. He did his Youth Corp with SNEPCO, and has since joined CYKA Petroleum. He is also a graduate of Nottingham Trent with a Masters of Arts in International Relations.

Golden Emmanuel Iruayenama – Director

An Operations Engineer of 30 years’ multi-discipline experience in the onshore/offshore Oil & Gas Industry, with competence status in Oil & Gas Production, Maintenance, and Marine Engineering.

Golden retired from Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO) in 2007, after holding various capacities rising up to the position of Head Capability Management, vast experience in Marine Engineering and offshore facilities maintenance and operations, process and facilities design & maintenance, HSE & Quality deliveries, production technology & operations, and project / asset management. Golden was also the Production Superintendent for the production and maintenance of field facilities & capability management in Bonga FPSO project concept design / FEED, & Operational Readiness.

Before his transfer to SNEPCO in 2005, he was the Head Underwater & Marine Maintenance at Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited (SPDC) where he worked in the installation projects that include Bonny Single Point Moorings (SPMS) and Decommissioning of Bonny Inshore Mooring System (CBMs), Underwater inspection of all Inshore and Offshore facilities in the Eastern Division. He also was Production Area Coordinator in the production and maintenance of Easter and Western Swamp Fields – Alakiri Gas plant and Flow station, Cawthorne Channels 1,2,3, Bonny F/S, Opobo South, Buguma Creek, Orubiri, Soku, Krakrama, Belema, Ekulama 1&2, Nembe 1,2,3,4, Odeama Crk, Diebu Crk, Nun River.

Since his retirement from Shell, Golden has been a consultant to the Nigerian Oil & Gas companies including SNEPCO managing competency development projects services across sectors in the industry.
